Terms of Service
By creating an account or using the Manole app (also branded “Two Peaks”) you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
1. What Manole is (and isn’t)
Manole is a marketplace platform: customers can post jobs, service providers (handymen and businesses) can list services, and the two sides can find each other, chat, and leave reviews.
Manole is not a party to any agreement between users. We don’t employ providers, we don’t guarantee their work, availability, licensing or insurance, and we don’t set or collect prices — the app processes no payments; any pricing shown is informational and any payment or contract happens directly between you and the other user, at your own responsibility.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
- One person per account; keep your credentials secret; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
- Provider accounts must describe their services truthfully — including rates, experience, and business details.
- The “verified” badge means an administrator reviewed submitted identity documents. It is not an endorsement, qualification check, or guarantee of work quality.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post (profiles, posts, photos, reviews, messages). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content for operating and promoting the service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. Reviews must reflect a genuine interaction; we may remove content that violates these Terms.
4. Rules of conduct
Do not:
- break the law, or offer/solicit illegal services;
- harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;
- post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, reviews, or profiles;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or qualifications;
- spam, scrape, or send unsolicited advertising;
- upload malware, attempt to bypass security, probe or overload the service, or access data that isn’t yours;
- collect other users’ personal data beyond what’s needed to arrange a service.
5. Safety tools & moderation
The app provides blocking (a blocked user can’t message you) and reporting (flag users, posts, or reviews). We may review reported content, remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — with or without notice, depending on severity. Moderation decisions can be appealed via support@manole.live.
6. Termination
- By you: delete your account anytime (Settings → Account → Delete account). Your personal data is anonymized as described in the Privacy Policy; messages and reviews others depend on remain in anonymized form.
- By us: we may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create risk for other users or the service.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law: we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation; we are not liable for the conduct, work quality, or omissions of users you engage through the platform; and our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us to use it (the app is currently free, so this is zero) or the minimum amount required by law, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including EU and national consumer-protection rules.
8. Changes to the service or terms
We may change or discontinue features (V1 is an early release and evolves quickly). We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date and announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the European Union member state in which the operator is established, together with directly applicable EU law. This never deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live: as a consumer in the EU you keep those rights, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence. You can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
